Hi, welcome

Thank you for your choice to work with the artistic textures of PERFECTTEX. Your artwork will easily stand out in the crowd because of the exclusive  nature of these textures.

Have you already been visiting the PERFECTTEX webshop ? It is the place to be, to find hundreds of exclusive textures no where else to find. For just a little money you can start using these fabulous textures. Already with one texture pack you will have many possibilities. Why hesitate, go to the shop and pick out the textures you’re waiting for! (the more textures you purchase in one buy, the  cheaper they will become!)

And……the best news is:  by using these artistic textures you are on the brink of  becoming a PERFECT artist!

An example: lets take Artistic Texture: purple-086, which has a rough purplish patine, use it for topping on all kinds of surfaces,  f.e. a flat surfaces as an alien surrounding,  a strange  sci-fi sky or use it on top of just anything, where your imagination will bring you. The 4 maps to play with are: 086-diffuse, 086-specular, 086-normal, 086-displacement.

The scenes below are of a very quick nature, I didnot put much work & time in them because my intention was not making the best possible example, but only a quick example  for explanationary reasons.

Purple- 086 maps

With these maps you will be able to create  a whole lot of different combinations, play with the tiling settings, render settings, in combination with the light(s)settings in your scene, best results always come out of experimenting a lot and foremost having fun in your own discovering mode.

Because the artistic textures can contain already a lot of displacement you have to take care with the displacement settings, when keeping them low you already can yield quite some displacement, shown in example below. Caused by displacement, normal  & light settings you could believe  the pot is coated with a purplish velours,

In the second example, with the  displacements settings just a little changed, with no changes in the light settings but a changed point of view,  the result gives you….

Displ Settings 2

…a sci-fi bay with a bit wet purplish rocky shore and the water made look purple by reflection and light . In this strange landscape you can imagen yourself standing on the rocks about the size of yourself, or you can  imagen yourself trapped on the bottom of  an enormeous vulcano crater,  getting a stif neck by looking up……how the………….do I get out!

Besides a .jpeg and a .psd file for your convenience,  another special map you will find in a texturepack,  it is the texture with a alpha channel map. This is a strong feature which can be used in many ways.  The more Artistic Textures you purchase the more possibilities,  in fact tons of  possibilities you will have. All the different combinations you can make, it is dazzling!.  To give you some ideas of what you can do with only one Artistic Texture already, have a look at just these few examples of all things possible*

(*depends on your painting/sculpting software packages you use)
